Build a Bridge - restored the Lake Trail, including the installation of bridges and puncheons
Camp Library - added new volumes to the camp library in partnership with (the former) Off the Beaten Path Book Store (now Good Neighbor Bookstore) in Lakewood, NY
Picnic Table - raised the funds and helped assemble 25 new picnic tables
Lean-to Project - began with the deconstruction of the lean-to built by campers in 1975. The new primitive site, called The Marys, features two lean-tos built in a similar style as the original, one named for Mary Cooper, the other for Mary Alice Campbell.
Wall of Fame - a page to honor the people who influenced our love of Timbercrest
Friends of Horton Hill - a page for a spin-off group that is doing similar work at the Service Center in Jamestown, NY. Horton Hill is a great place to start learning the outdoor skills that will make camping at Timbercrest all the more enjoyable.
This website is owned and operated by the Friends of Timbercrest (FOT). It is not an official website of GSUSA or GSWNY.
FOT works in partnership with GSWNY to preserve, enhance, and promote Girl Scout Camp Timbercrest so that it may always be a place where girls can connect with nature, try new things, and build confidence & self-reliance.
