Projects and Activities

Projects at Timbercrest

  • Build a Bridge - restored the Lake Trail, including the installation of bridges and puncheons
  • Camp Library - added new volumes to the camp library in partnership with (the former) Off the Beaten Path Book Store (now Good Neighbor Bookstore) in Lakewood, NY
  • Picnic Table - raised the funds and helped assemble 25 new picnic tables
  • Lean-to Project - began with the deconstruction of the lean-to built by campers in 1975. The new primitive site, called The Marys, features two lean-tos built in a similar style as the original, one named for Mary Cooper, the other for Mary Alice Campbell.
