Ready? Set. Go Camping! - on us

The Marys, two new lean-tos built by the Friends of Timbercrest, are done and now it is time to celebrate... by going camping!

In the weeks leading up to the May 6-8, 2022, Work Weekend, troop leaders were invited to enter to win a day or weekend rental at The Marys to be paid for by Friends of Timbercrest.

Each lean-to can sleep up to 8 girls. In addition, there is plenty of room to pitch tents or hang hammocks. It is a primitive camping site and you must provide all your own equipment. You can drive as far as the Sunset cabin-tent unit, but will walk in about a quarter mile from there.

At the Dedication and Grand Opening that was held on Friday, May 6, 2022, two lucky winners were selected by members of the Cooper and Campbell families.
