Come Celebrate the 5/55!

What is a 5/55?

Picture
In October of 2017, the Friends of Timbercrest held their first Work Weekend making 2022 5th anniversary of FOT!

On June 27, 1967 a dedication ceremony was held to open the first year of residence camp making 2022 the 55th anniversary of residence camp.

And so this year, let us celebrate the 5/55!

Friday-Monday, October 7-10, 2022
Come for the whole weekend, or come for a day.
Registration deadline: September 25.

Registration Links (read carefully to select the correct link for your situation):
  • I'm coming! Register me! (This will include you in the directory, if you give permission on the form.)
  • I can't come (or I'm not sure yet), but include me in the directory!
  • I can't come and I don't want to be in the directory, but here's a donation.
  • T-shirt & Sweatshirt Sale. (Link coming soon!)

What Will Be Happening at the 5/55?

Plans are being made, are not yet set in stone, and will be guided by your feedback when you register. But here are a few of the activities you might expect:
  • Hiking - self-guided, or guided
  • Camp tours (aka, showing off our awesome projects)
  • Canoeing and Kayaking
  • Workshops such as Yoga and Meditation, Forest Bathing
  • Friends of Timbercrest Store(s)
  • Great Food throughout the weekend
  • Saturday night dinner followed by Keynote Speaker and a special Campfire
  • Planning sessions for the next five years
  • Story-gathering for a history of Camp. (Bring anything you have related to your days at camp! We are particularly interested in staff directories.)
  • Work Projects - such as trail maintenance, wood splitting, etc.
