We Celebrated the 5/55!
October 7-10, 2022

What is a 5/55?

In October of 2017, the Friends of Timbercrest held their first Work Weekend making 2022 5th anniversary of FOT! On June 27, 1967 a dedication ceremony was held to open the first year of residence camp making 2022 the 55th anniversary of residence camp. And so , we celebrated the 5/55!

Friday-Monday, October 7-10, 2022
A wonderful weekend was enjoyed by all who attended. We even got a bit of work done: wood split, trails cleared, trails blazed, a couple of posts installed (ready for signs in the spring), leaky boats patched, canoe paddle door handles removed and stored for winter, nest boxes cleaned, routed signs attached to pavilions in Sunset, Strawberry Hill, and Sprucewood, and light switches in Bellinger Hall labeled.
